What are contact tags in KWIC?

Contact Tags are internal labels used to categorize contacts based on behavior, status, and interests. Tags help with segmentation and targeted communication.

How to add contact tags in KWIC

Step 1: Open Settings

Click Settings at the bottom-left of the screen.

Step 2: Open Tag Manager

Navigate to General, then scroll down and click Tag Manager.

Step 3: Create a tag

  1. Click Add.

  2. Enter the tag name.

  3. Set the tag status.

  4. Save the tag.

Step 4: Edit or delete tags

  • Use the search box to find an existing tag.

  • Click the bin icon to delete a tag, if required.

What are custom parameters?

Custom Parameters are personalized placeholders that allow you to send dynamic messages. The message content automatically changes based on individual customer details.

1. Attribute (Label)

The Attribute is like the question on a form. It is a fixed name that stays the same for all your customers.

2. Value

The Value is the specific information belonging to an individual customer. This is the part that changes from person to person.

How to add custom parameters in KWIC

Step 1: Open Custom Parameters

Under the Contact Tags section, find Custom Parameters.

Step 2: Add attribute and value

  1. Click Add.

  2. Enter the attribute name.

  3. Assign the corresponding value.

  4. Save the changes.

Step 3: Configure campaign and utility settings

You will see two options:

  • Allow Campaign

  • Allow Utility

Enable these options by ticking the checkboxes based on your communication requirements.

Step 4: Save the contact

After completing the steps above, save the contact.
