Operations you can use inside BotFlow to update status, assign operators, apply tags, send sequences, and more.
BotFlow operations
Operations help you manage workflow state, assignment, tagging, sequences, and attribute updates.
Status / Set Status
Set Status operation in KWIC BotFlow Set Status configuration panel (Open, Pending, Solved, Blocked) Purpose: Track and update the current status of a task or customer in the flow.
How it works:
Click the pencil icon to update the status.
Status types:
Open – Task or customer interaction is active.
Pending – Waiting for input or response.
Solved – Issue is resolved or task completed.
Blocked – Task cannot proceed due to dependency.
Example: Set to Open when a query starts. Update to Solved when resolved.
Template operation in KWIC BotFlow Template picker in BotFlow to select a WhatsApp template Purpose: Continue a flow using a predefined WhatsApp template.
How it works:
Click the pencil icon in the template section.
Select the desired template.
Assignment Operator
Assignment Operator operation in KWIC BotFlow Assignment Operator settings to assign the flow to a team member Purpose: Assign a conversation to a specific operator.
How it works:
Select Assignment Operator in the flow.
Assign it to the required team member.
Set Tag operation in KWIC BotFlow Set Tag configuration screen to choose a tag Purpose: Categorize customers or conversations using tags.
Example: Use tags like VIP, New Leads, or Returning Customers for targeting.
Campaign Status
Campaign Status operation in KWIC BotFlow Set Broadcast Status options: Enable Broadcast and Disable Broadcast Purpose: Enable or disable campaign broadcasts.
How it works:
Click Set Broadcast Status.
Choose Enable Broadcast or Disable Broadcast.
Assign / Send Sequence
Assign / Send Sequence operation in KWIC BotFlow Assign Sequence settings to select a sequence and configure delays Purpose: Schedule actions or messages in a specific order and after a time interval.
How it works:
Click the pencil icon on Assign Sequence.
Select the sequence you want to apply.
Configure the sequence (timed delays and order).
Example:
After 1 hour → Send “Thank you for visiting.”
After 2 hours → Send follow-up survey.
Update Attribute
Update Attribute operation in KWIC BotFlow Update Attribute configuration to choose attribute and value Purpose: Modify customer or conversation data during a flow.
How it works:
Select the attribute you want to update (for example: status, priority, tag).
