Custom Reply Materials are pre-built WhatsApp replies you can reuse across KWIC automations.

Use them to keep replies consistent across teams and triggers.

Overview

Custom Reply Materials let you send predefined replies automatically when an automation triggers.

You will usually assign one of these:

  • Flow assignment: start a BotFlow from an automation.

  • Custom Material assignment: send a saved reply (text/image) consistently across automations.

What is Custom Material assignment?

  • Use pre-created reply content that can be instantly sent to users.

  • Reuse the same reply across multiple automations.

What you can send

  • Text (quick messages and FAQs)

  • Flow (start a BotFlow from an automation)

  • Image (send a banner, product image, or instruction screenshot)

Where Custom Reply Materials are used

You typically select a Custom Reply Material when configuring:

  • Automated Actions (welcome message, fallback reply, after-hours reply)

  • Keyword Actions (send a standard reply when a user types a keyword)
